Transcendental Meditation with Colours:

- 8 Sessions Course -

What is Transcendental Meditation?

It is a method of detaching oneself from problems, anxiety, fears, pain,
tensions, etc., by silent meditation and repetition of a mantra.

Tai Chi UK uses colours, chakras & mantras to achieve this effect.
Colour meditation was used in Ancient India and is currently used
by Reiki Masters to open the energy points in the body to help
relax the mind.

The colours used by Tai Chi UK are: Red, Yellow, Orange, Green, Pink,
Sky Blue, Indigo and Violet. Each colour is used with its reflective main
benefit. The adept learns to associate the colour and its power as an
object to focus the mind. By focusing the mind, it is then possible to
detach itself from other thoughts, thereby allowing it to slip into a
state of deep calmness.

The benefit of achieving this state enables the rest of the body &
mind to relax, releasing tiredness in the individual. When this is
achieved, the adept experiences complete inner peace, freedom
from fears, pain, tensions/stresses and other attachments to the
mundane world. A state of sub-consciousness follows, allowing
the person to be bathed in a blissful flow of colourful excellence.

20 minutes twice a day is believed to be equivalent to 8 hours of
restful sleep. At the end of the 20 minutes the adept feels refreshed
and more able to face the challenges in their lives.

The practical benefits of Transcendental Meditation is that it allows
the adept to consciously take a break from the fast lane and slow
down for a few moments each day. This benefits the body & mind
as it allows the adept's spiritual self to emerge, nourishing his/her
overall well-being.

Meaning of Colours and the parts of the body they are associated with:

Colour Empowerment Association

1. Red - Stability; The Anus
2. Orange - Strength; The Stomach
3. Yellow - Knowledge; The Solar Plexus
4. Green - Balance; The Heart
5. Pink - Love; Centre of the Heart
6. Sky - Blue; Clarity The Throat
7. Indigo - Intuition; The Third Eye
